Description

The pieces of wood are designed for hot smoking. To use them, simply place them in the middle of the charcoal, directly in the bottom of the Kokko.
Hot smoking gives food a delicately smoky taste. The pieces of wood are very large, so combustion is slower.

Good to know : Large pieces of wood for Kokko can be used to reach high cooking temperatures.

Satisfaction at the rendezvous

I was looking for a smoking wood that would hold up well over time, and this is exactly that. My salmon smoked with cherry wood was incredible, I recommend it!

I did not know

Nothing to do with conventional chips, here the combustion lasts longer and the smoke is smoother. I love hickory for my ribs, a real taste of American barbecue!

A pleasant surprise

The chunks are large and slow-burning, giving an authentic taste. I used the apple tree for a filet mignon, and the result was top-notch.

Superb wood quality!

I tested olive and oak, and the pieces were very dry, giving off an intense but balanced smoke. Perfect for giving a real signature to my smoked meats.
